Rick Kalvaitis Principal

A former professional athlete who turned his attention to education after his playing days, continues to emphasize team work and life long learning as an important vehicle for success.

Having completed his B.A./B.Ed., Mr. Kalvaitis has been an Ontario educator since 1985 at both the Elementary and Secondary levels. He also has experience as a Program Manager on numerous, month long, international summer school programs. He has expertise and extensive knowledge of non-traditional experiential teaching practices that go beyond the classroom. Continuing to provide non-traditional learning opportunities is an important priority for him.

Mr. Kalvaitis’s wife is also a lifelong educator in both secondary and international education. A true family affair.
